View from a blue moon

Release Date: 2015/12/15

View From A Blue Moon was created by John John Florence and directed by Blake Vincent Kueny; their second signature release since critically acclaimed film, Done (2013). For the film, the pair teamed up with award-winning film studio Brain Farm to create a revolutionarily stunning 60-minute feature. We just wanted to make something thats cool to us. If everyone else likes it, thats even better, says Kueny. Florence adds, My favorite thing about this film is how we made it. The toys we used might have been bigger and more expensive but we shot this movie in the same spirit we always have. We spent quality time with family and friends surfing and exploring in my favorite places on the planet. I cant wait to share the film with you. The film follows Florence and his closest friends and fellow professional surfers to his favorite surfing destinations around the globe. From the South Pacific to the darkest uncharted waters of Africa, Florence faces a broad spectrum of emotions as he continues to seal his legacy as one of the most gifted surfers ever. And while the young Hawaiian is pulled in increasingly different directions, there is no form of pressure that will keep him from his ultimate goal - to redefine what is possible in the ocean. The soundtrack features an array of beautifully eclectic music ranging from an original Jack Johnson track, written just for the film, to Motörheads Fast & Loose scored to the films dynamic closer.
